Game review
The Last of Us
The Last of Us is a post apocalyptic game featuring the main characters of Ellie and Joel trying to get to a group of people who are called the fireflies who can potientally make a cure for the human race.

The first thing I noticed about this game when I first played it was the outstanding graphics that are one of the most realistic I've ever seen. The next thing you notice about this game is the story-line and how in depth and well written it is, the story truly is emotional.

However, although this game has many good points there are also some bad things about it one being the multiplayer as it is not very creative and there are a lot of DLC which you have to pay to use which is not very good in my opinion.

Genre: action-adventure survival horror
Goal: find the fireflies so you can make a cure
Playstation Official Magazine Australia said this about The Last of Us and rated it 100/100
As a game, The Last of Us will occasionally falter. Imperfect underwater mechanics and careless friendly AI that insists on blocking your path or causing unnecessary firefights can irk, but they are very minor niggles and should be treated as such. Because as an experience, The Last of Us is powerful, emotionally draining and absolutely one of the finest games of this generation. [August 2013, p70

IGN 10/10
The Last of Us has also won many awards from winning the BAFTA games award for the best game in 2014 to the VGX award for the best PS3 game
Overall I rate The Last of Us a 9.7/10
