Artistic styles
I am going to be analysing 4 different types of artistic styles the first one i'm going to start off with is photo realism.
Photo realism

Photo realism is the artistic style of taking a picture of a certain object or item or background and then tracing over that picture and making the picture seem life like. However, the one problem with photo realism is that sometimes the images are too sharp. One example of photo realism is the players heads in Fifa 17.
Exaggeration

The second artistic style is exaggeration, exaggeration is generally used more in anime's and cartoons. One example of this is in the anime No Game No Life where the eyes and hair are over exaggerated.
Abstraction
Abstraction is one of the oldest artistic styles that I am going to cover it was made by Pablo Picasso and many games have decided to use his work. Abstraction is using shapes and geometry to make a game one example of this is the popular game franchise called Geometry Wars.

Pixel Art

Pixel art is art that is using pixels too make and generally it is an image of something that does not exist on this world and something that you can't take a picture of. One famous example of pixel art is a picture of Barrack Obama.
